Telkom's Information Services allows you to distribute information to your customers via telephone as opposed to other mediums such as television and print. It allows you to improve customer service and productivity.
The numbers that are used for the Information Service are fixed 10 digit numbers starting with the 0867 code. The call is routed via the Telkom network (PSTN) to the Service Providers interactive voice response platform (IVR), where the information is available 24 hours a day.

Telkom has partnered with three Service Providers who specialize in distributing content. This allows Telkom to offer the public a whole range of services related to information .i.e. technical assistance, legal assistance, government services, news and sport information.
There is a strict code of conduct within the contractual agreement between Telkom and the Service Providers. This will prevent any obscene or defamatory information from being offered. Customers subscribed to the Telkom BlockCall feature have the facility to block calls to all Information service numbers as blocking is available up to the 4th digit.
